Brakes take just as much abuse as your engine or suspension. So why overlook something so critical to finishing a race or trail ride? Though flushing your brake systems regularly helps maintain performance, over time they become inefficient. Caliper piston seals crack from heat cycling, caliper piston breaks down causing uneven pad wear, and dirt migrates into the master cylinder through the plunger dust seals. All of which create loss of brake performance.
Our full brake system service includes:
- Brake calipers, lines and master cylinders are separated, disassembled and inspected for wear.
- Each component is checked individually for damage or wear.
- The caliper is soda blasted clean to remove staining and discoloration from heat.
- Worn components are replaced. Calipers and master cylinders are reassembled to spec. Each seal and rubber slider is prepped with specific prep fluid or grease to ensure long lasting performance.
- The complete brake system is assembled with new banjo crush washers, flushed and bled with Brembo LCF600 fluid. The overall brake performance is checked on our brake jig, ensuring perfect performance.
- The front or rear brake system is carefully packaged and shipped back for re-installation. (Any old components also are sent back)
